Upcoming Dog Event: Buckle Up for Splash and Paw-ty

Price – $10 per dog and benefits Hendricks County Humane Society.

Does the idea of lounging in the water, amidst the summer heat sound like the ideal weekend plan for your pooch? If yes then join in on this fun-filled, dog-friendly event all set to bestow your furry companions with a chance to enjoy Splash Island just as much as you do!!

The event is Presented By Plainfield Parks & Recreation and will commence on September 11, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This dog-friendly event is organized to celebrate the end of a memorable Splash Island season.

Your four-legged companion in addition to splashing in the pool will get the delightful chance to laze out its weekend, swimming and paddle the afternoon away at Splash Island in Plainfield. But wait that’s not all, dog vendors, treat station, prize raffles and many more surprises await to intensify the weekend fun for your lovely pooches.

Note:

• Dogs weighing 30 lbs or less are invited to enjoy the swim from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM. while the timing for large dogs spans from  12:30 PM until 2:30 PM
• Proof of vaccinations ( Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies) are a must.
• Dogs of all sizes (small, large, medium) are heartily invited for a fun-filled splashing experience, however, the only requirement that holds up is the friendliness of the canines around other dogs. The dogs should be under the proper control of their owners.
• Lifeguards will be present on duty.
• The pool is open for four-legged amigos only.
• Pre-registration is recommended, but not necessary
• Guests are requested to use Splash Island Outdoor Entrance.
