About the event

The LOOP Fort Lauderdale is a proud announcer of the 2nd Fur the Love Pet Fest, #FLTPetFest22, celebrated annually on the Love your pet day for the creatures that are known for their drooly love, yes Dogs. The beneficiaries of the fund raised from the event will be 100 + Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida Rescue. The event would be hosted by the Instagram Influencer pup, Teddy and his human mother, Ana. They go by the username – Tour with Teddy and Ana.

Would it be any fun? Of course. The event would be a Sunday Festival to celebrate the Love your pet day on 20th February. Would you go home hungry and bored? Not if you decide to enjoy the brunch and beachside fun the event promises. Yes, the beach! The Las Olas Oceanside Park would be the location of fur gathering and human chattering. 

Just like the last time, Fur the Love gathers the canophiles to come together with their furballs to have some food and do some good. Spread the love in the air and help the 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida Rescue in their mission.

The 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida Rescue is a common effort of some animal lovers to protect the precious creatures from human abuse and neglect. The project relies on people’s contribution and appreciates and respects it.

Ticket Price of Fur the love Pet Fest Event

The money collected from all the tickets would benefit the 100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Florida Rescue. You would get gifts with each ticket purchase. 

• Children under 12 – Free
• The general ticket – $10 with Raffle tickets and Flower Crown/Bandana (Limited Supply)
• The VIP ticket – $30 with a Gift bag, a flower crown and a bandana. Also, raffle tickets and a front of line pet caricature voucher.
• The $40 Furshionista ticket for the One pet fashion show entry

• The winners of the event get a night’s stay with their pet at Kimpton The Goodland, Fort Lauderdale Beach. The stay would be in a premium guest room with perks for your dog including dog bed, bowls, treats and toys. Also, expect a cocktail for your welcome. 
• The second place winner pet gets their own photo session.
• The third place winners get $100 rough house gift cards.

Picnic

• 2 people picnic – Tickets at $110 for 2 adults and 2 pets at max. A 2 hour picnic with provision of picnic blankets. Brunch and beverages included.

• 6 people VIP picnic – Tickets at $100 per person and $600 per table. 6 Guests + pets and Brunch and beverages included. Keep the table for the whole day. Get a gift bag and a flower crown per person. Also, a bandana for each dog and 3 raffle tickets per person. Get tickets for Dog Yoga and Fashion show entry. Deposit $150 in advance as limited tickets available.

Rules for canines and their humans

• All canines must be on a 6 feet leash all the time
• They should have been vaccinated with a rabies and be licensed 
• Should not exhibit excessive noisy and aggressive behaviour
• Handlers are to be responsible for their pet’s behaviour
• Handlers are to take care of the dog’s faeces; bags will be provided

About Teddy and Ana

Teddy and Ana, the hosts of this event, are the proud handlers of the Instagram page ‘Tour with Teddy’ and the blog ‘Living a fairytale’. After celebrity reporter Perez Hilton gave teddy the newest ‘it’ pup title in June 2021, Teddy truly became a popular pup. Ana started posting her and Teddy’s adventures in Florida and people started loving their duo. 

Teddy, the Maltese, is a product ambassador and model at Tour with Teddy at MyFtLB.com. Though, he is known to lift his animal friends up whenever they are in need.
