Despite the rising number of cases of animal cruelty all around the world, there are many inspiring tales of good men and women who are trying their best to save these innocent lives at the cost of their life.
A team of animal rights activists made into the national news due to their heroic endeavor to save the life of a stray dog. In a very emotional and heartwarming episode, a team of 5 brave men traveled all the way from Hyderabad to Warangal after receiving a distress call from a village.
According to the report by Times of India, Hyderabad, a dog had fallen into a 70-foot deep borewell pit in a village of Narayan Thanda of Warangal district. Once Animal Warriors Conservation Society was contacted for assistance, a team of 5 Bravehearts decided to take up the 3 hrs long journey to the village.
Like any other day, the villagers were on their way to their fields when they realized that a dog had fallen into the borewell, which they used for watering their fields. They immediately contacted the local authorities, who decided to call in a favor from AWCS.
Anthony Prabhu, Messi, Raghav, Sanjeev Sharma, and Amarnath knew it beforehand that the rescue operation would not be an easy one. However, the support of the villagers and the sufficient experience helped them get the dog back to land and into the care of the villagers.
