Kaiser, the Police dog, stabbed brutally, Rejoins Duty following full recovery

Are you looking for something good to begin your day with? Well, here’s some good news to peruse!! A police dog, Kaiser, who was stabbed in June, finally returned to duty on Monday, in all good health. And what’s more, the brave boy was gifted a new toy for his bravery by Mayor Bromley.

A police dog, Kaiser, sustaining serious injuries following a knife attack finally returned to duty on Monday, August 9. Kaiser, an associate of the Croydon Police in England, was accompanied by his handler PC Woolcott, who was also injured in the brutal attack. Further, Kaiser was also rewarded with a new toy for his bravery, by the Mayor and the Mayoress.

The police department shared the news of Kaiser’s speedy recovery on Friday, informing that their brave dog is healthy and fit, and thereby, the courageous fellow is ready to get back on the track and serve the city once again.

Kaiser, while on duty, was seriously injured after being stabbed in the head about five times and once under his eye.  PC Mark Woolcott (Kaiser’s handler) along with Kaiser, were on patrol when they were informed regarding an intruder in the back garden of a house on Luxted Road in Orpington, around 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 30. Kaiser suffered injuries while attempting to subdue the intruder. In fact, the brave police dog dominated the intruder till the police took him into custody. The Dog Task Force on the investigation into Kaiser’s injuries said that “he was lucky to be alive.”

Taking to their social handle, The Croydon Police Department shared the pictures of the celebration in regards to the rejoining of Kaiser and PC Mark Woolcott (his handler) Facebook. The department shared before and after clicks of Kaiser, which clearly showed how much of a fighter he is.

Furthermore, the brave dog received deserved appreciation from the mayor and mayor of Croydon. As a welcome gift, Mayor gifted Kaiser a toy and it seems he really liked it. The event was graced by the Police Commander and Mayor of Bromley along with Councilor Russell L. Mailer.
